The Access Control Management System was developed to address the challenges of a paper-based registration process for managing data center access by digitalizing the request, approval, and record-keeping procedures. Utilizing the Unified Software Development Process, the system was built in phases and implemented using PHP, MySQL, and the Laravel framework, with iterative improvements and third-party enhancements. The final system underwent rigorous functional, usability, and security testing, concluding that it meets the client’s requirements, poses a low cybersecurity risk, and is user-friendly.
