March2015. ABSTRACT The Today, we are living in an era of computer world. trends of technology were adopted to meet the aspired modernization all over the world. Moving toward the horizon to compete with modernization, the barangay Poblacio, ZoneII, Estancia, Iloilo aspires also to have a technology based system. The proposed System, entitled the "Automated Resident Information and Transaction System of Barangay Poblacion ZoneII, Estancia ,Iloilo "is conceptualized on the basis that there is amend to improve the present manual process upon requesting barangay documents. Interms of performance the process during transactions are slow making. The response to requested documents consumed too much time. One transaction takes an average of five to ten minutes. By implementing the proposed system the process in the record keeping, data filing and information retrieval of residents will be more faster and easier, introducing the desired output at an average of two to three minutes. This is because the proposed system is performed automatically and the performance is better than by fifty percent faster over the current system. This System applied the two-tier technology for its architectural design.
