The study on Chlamys senatoria fishery in Gigantes Islands revealed a continuous increase in Catch Per Unit Effort (CPUE) from July to October 2013, with a sharp decline in November. The average CPUE was recorded at 1.6 kg per diver, and divers predominantly harvested clams with a shell height of approximately 60 mm, noting the highest size frequency distribution between 70-74 mm shell height at 21.50%. These findings suggest that with proper management, C. senatoria could be considered a sustainable resource in the Gigantes Islands.
