ABSTRACT The Registrar's Office of Don Casimero Andrada National High School faces problems regarding the keeping of student's records. This project was conducted to automate the manual-based system used at Registrars' Office of DCANHS. The proponent noted that the processing of keeping the students record is time consuming because it is done manually. The Student Information System of Don Casimero Andrada National High School was conceptualized on the basis that there is a need to improve the current system in to a reliable and computer-based system so that the processing of information will be better and faster. This proposed system was designed to be fast, user friendly and easy to learn. The N-tier architectural design was used as framework of the system that can be launched in a client and server environment. Findings show that the proposed system, in terms of performance is better by six hundred percent over the proposed system. This is because one transaction using the current system may take sixty minutes to process while it can only take thirty minutes to finish a transaction using the proposed system. iii
