ABSTRACT The Estancia National High School Guidance office rencountered problem in keeping ,retrieving and searching records of the students because its current processes done in manual based. Hence ,the proposed system "ESTANCIA NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL GUIDANCE RECORD WITH SMS NOTIFICATION SYSTEM" was conceptualized on the basis that there are something to enhance the current system to expand the computer-based system so that the record of the student will be much easier and faster than the current system. Finding shows that there was a big help difference between the current systems and the proposed system in terms of its performance. The proposed system was improved in which the Guidance Office can easily store, update, retrieve and search the data of the students when the storing, retrieval and updating of the records are done electronically. Using the new system it was accurate, paperless, timely and more efficient. The architectural design used in this proposed system is two-tier architecture.
