This research compared the file transfer performance of CCBoot and iShareDisk boot systems in a network environment, evaluating performance through the transfer of files from a server to clients with varying numbers and sizes of files. Seven personal computers were utilized to measure transfer speed in Megabytes per second (MBps), and the results were analyzed statistically using the Mean, Kruskal-Wallis, and Mann-Whitney U tests. The study concluded that CCBoot was faster with small clients but slower with larger client numbers, while iShareDisk excelled with smaller file sizes and CCBoot performed better with larger file sizes; however, there was no significant difference in overall performance between the two systems.
