Introducing aquaponics in classrooms can enhance students' appreciation for aquatic resources, promote systems thinking, and facilitate hands-on learning. However, managing an aquaponic system requires diverse skills and knowledge, and poses challenges such as technical difficulties, space limitations, and funding issues. The article discusses strategies to address these challenges and highlights two educational aquaponics programs to guide educators in effectively implementing aquaponics in educational settings.
