ABSTRACT The Naval Reserve Officer Training Corps Unitis currently using manual-based system in data filing and information. This current system is experiencing problems retrieval. such as misinformation, delay and waste of time. Hence, the proposed system "NROTCU Grades and Events Using SMS" was conceptualized on the basis that there are something to enhanced in the current system practice into a dependable, flexible ,expandable and computer-based system so that To be fast, user friendly and easy to learn. Then-tier architectural design was used as frame work of the system that can be launched in a client and server Environment. The current system is time-consuming interms of retrieving records since one transaction can take an average of 9.77 minutes. Findings showed that the proposed system ,interms of performance is better by one thousand eight hundred nine percent compare to the current system based on the ratio of transactions. The proposed system performed similar transaction with an average of 54 seconds. Thus, it could accommodate higher number of transactions and operations without using more effort because the records and other information of the students were processed automatically.
