This descriptive research study aimed to investigate the spending and saving habits of 250 randomly selected households in Estancia, using a researcher-modified questionnaire and various statistical analyses. The study found that spending habits varied based on family life stages and monthly income, with newly married or childbearing families and those with income above P20,000 tending to always save and spend more, whereas families with income below P10,000 or those with school-age children and middle-aged individuals sometimes engaged in saving and spending activities. Additionally, there was a significant relationship between spending and saving habits based on family life stage and income, but not when it came to the number of family members.
