PERFORMANCES ANALYSIS OF DIFFERENT IP-BASED COMMUNICATION

This experimental research analyzed the performance of two IP-based telephony systems, Elastix and FreePBX, in terms of grade of service and voice quality. Conducted at NIPSC from December 2017 to March 2018, the study found that clients connected to the FreePBX server connected faster, while Elastix provided better voice quality. However, no significant differences were observed in the overall grade of service and voice quality between the two systems.
