PREFERRED CURRICULAR PRACTICES IN TEACHING SHORT STORY

This study aimed to identify the preferred curricular practices for teaching short stories among junior high school English teachers in Estancia and Balasan National High Schools. Utilizing a 22-item questionnaire focusing on traditional and progressive curricular practices, the study found that teachers favored progressive methods for teaching short stories. The research also indicated no significant differences in curricular preferences when considering factors such as teachers' length of teaching experience and educational attainment.
