This descriptive study investigated the challenges faced by English major teachers at Estancia National High School who are assigned to teach subjects outside their specialization. The research involved 16 English major teachers and found that the most common issues included a lack of textbooks and reference materials, insufficient budget for seminars, and inadequate equipment and tools for teaching. The study found no significant differences in these challenges based on the teachers' age, sex, or educational attainment.
