This study investigated the study habits of BSTED students at Northern Iloilo Polytechnic State College, Estancia, Iloilo, during the 2001-2002 academic year. It aimed to identify significant differences in study habits based on gender, the high school they graduated from, and monthly family income, focusing on areas such as scheduling, attitudes, reading, study environment, note-taking, retention, exams, parental guidance, and teacher influence. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics like mean and standard deviation, along with inferential statistics such as the t-test and ANOVA, with a significance level of 0.05, based on a questionnaire adapted from Reyes et al. (1996), involving 124 randomly selected BSTED students.
