LISTENING COMPREHENSION OF THE SOPHOMORE TEACHER EDUCATION STUDENTS

This study examined the listening comprehension of sophomore Teacher Education students at Northern Iloilo Polytechnic State College during the 2016-2017 school year, involving 90 participants categorized by sex, program, and academic performance. Using "The Tiger's Whisker" story as a research instrument and statistical analyses like ANOVA and Cronbach-Alpha, the results indicated a high level of listening comprehension across all groups and classifications. It was also found that there were no significant differences in listening comprehension based on sex, program, or academic performance.
