This descriptive research studied the perceived writing problems of 202 randomly selected BSBA students at NISU, using a validated and reliable researcher-made questionnaire. Analysis showed that the main issues in writing were categorized as linguistic, psychological, cognitive, and miscellaneous, with no significant sex-based differences, but significant differences were observed concerning exposure to English materials and performance in English subjects. It concluded that BSBA students generally face problems in writing, notably influenced by their exposure to English learning materials and their general performance in English subjects.
