Students Perception of the Use of Computer Mediated Communication in Foreign Language Learning

The study explored students' perceptions of using computer-mediated communication (CMC) for foreign language learning at Northern Iloilo State University, focusing on 48 AB English students. It classified participants by sex, age, technological skills, weekly hours spent on CMC, and years of internet usage, finding that perceptions were consistently positive irrespective of sex and age. Analysis revealed varying levels of technological expertise among students, yet no significant differences were found in perceptions of CMC use in language learning based on these demographic factors.
