Field: Education
This descriptive study investigated the attitudes and competences of 119 public elementary school teachers in the district of Batad towards Information and Communication Technology (ICT) as a basis for proposed in-service training. The findings indicated that teachers generally had a positive attitude towards ICT, and their competence was deemed "competent," with younger teachers and those who attended more training being notably more proficient in ICT. Additionally, there was a significant relationship between teachers' positive attitudes towards ICT and their competence, suggesting that a positive outlook enhances ICT competence, while no significant differences in competence were observed based on teachers' designations.
